Home Description
Spaciously gracious and style-flirtatious.
Lets begin with the exterior and its flirt with style. A prime take on this comes from Dallas Bradford, JCHs capable Construction Supervisor, regarding the homes copper paint. Thats right…copper paint, which literally prompted another builder in the neighborhood to ask "What are you thinking?" To which Dallas replied, "Dude, we can't all use taupe." Dallas also describes the outward appearance as, "Bold elevation, clean lines and depth of architecture. It's beautiful."
To get you into the groove from the moment you walk in, we like to say, "Form doesn't have to be sacrificed when maximizing function" with the 2,424 sq. ft theres plenty of room to get creative or frisky (depending on what room you're in, or does it?). From the plaza entry of the oversized garage to the elevated study floor with an exposed ceiling joist, to the center-fold kitchen with not only its sizable position, but its solid surface countertops and backsplash that open up but still "bring in."
Only dang-good appetizers.
The cleverly laid out kitchen offers a breakfast bar and also a sitting space, conveniently located off of the kitchen and dining area and paves off to the openness of the living room. Plenty of space to have your choice, sans the awkwardness of your guests lounging in the kitchen while you finish up that last minute appetizer, unless you want them to. Not a lot of houses can offer this type of plan which makes it ideal for entertaining. So go ahead and let them relax by the fireplace, have them help you out in the kitchen, utilize the convenient additional 1/2 bath. (Go ahead and let them think its just for them.)
Getting social. In the media room.
Today's life is all about "getting social" in just about every sense of the word, so, this plan also has a centralized structured media hub for prime entertaining a ton of guests or even just a cozy night alone with your dog or better half. Its even located just off of the living area, by the fireplace. Form following function…so smart.
Master of the domain.
The master bedroom has a pretty little ditty to it, too with a convenient door from the gigantic master closet into the roomy utility room. Even though the master bedroom has a plan, you may have another. (If you know what we're sayin'.) So, we kept that in mind with the, space, lighting, and tray ceiling along with the amazing master bath that includes "his" and "hers" prep spaces with a pleasant sit-down vanity separating the two sinks, each of which has its own mirror. A 60' x 40' garden soaker tub separate from the tiled shower...keep clean and carry on.
Dude items.
Not only is the media room your area of man-caveness, but the guy has to have more than just one option. Built into the well-situated 2.5 car garage are baseboards and casings to put all of your dude stuffs. Oh, and get out your grill and enjoy the outdoors under a covered back patio and let your guests butter up to the strong exterior stone accents of modern concrete brick, white mortar and dry-stack chablis stone. Let your ego rise a little. Its ok.
"Functionality and style can co-exist!" Pam Bradford, JCH
Not only does this house have plenty of room, but whats room when you don't do anything with it? Every inch of this home can be utilized without losing that fine touch of style that JCH has to offer, yet the rest of Oklahoma doesn't seem to. This particular home dresses in the "Metropolitan Package" which simply means, the cabinets, plumbing, sinks, hardware, doors...all have that clean, livably-modern look.
Our very own Brodie Tucker recalls the phrase that is commonly heard as visitors walk through the doors for a tour, "Am I still in Oklahoma?". So you might want to pinch yourself. While on the topic of style and function, every corner of this house has numerous surprises that await around every corner with decorative niches and set-ins that keep guests dazzled. Throughout the whole house theres a perfect mesh of cool colors—warm beige hues, emboldened by plum wall accents and aged copper surfacing. Its all finely outlined with white trim, and complemented by rugged stained concrete flooring and exposed brick and celling. The interior is just as pristine as the exterior with its clean lines and edges.
