In 2005, Jeff partnered with Craig Ferguson to form The Ocean Companies, specializing in modern-styled commercial development, construction, and management.

The Ocean Companies combines Jeff's 20+ years of design, construction, and organizational experience with Craig's background in banking, construction and business ownership.

Ocean Development acquires property, conceptualizes the concept, and develops the project. Ocean Construction handles building and build-out aspects of the project. Once completed, Ocean Management maintains and manages the properties, which are leased to commercial tenants.

Since 2005, the team has developed Class-A office developments, such as the Main Street Business District and Port164. In 2018, they acquired the iconic Split-T site, giving the strip center a major make-over, and constructed a micro-community of 4 modern homes just behind the Split-T.

The iconic Split T was acquired by Ocean Development in 2018. With the help of HSE Architects, we did a total make-over on the building's exterior that better befits its outstanding tenant mix as well as its location in the Western Avenue corridor.
