Q: Do you pay closing costs?
You may have seen more corporate, mass-production builders offer to pay closing costs as an incentive to get you to buy one of their homes.  That's one advantage a volume builder can leverage, as they generally value-engineer every aspect of their processes and product.

As a small-volume, boutique custom builder, I focus my resources on building well-designed, amenity-dense homes rather than applying extra margin towards transactional costs.  That being said, there are ways to write the Purchase Agreement to provide some closing cost assistance.  If you haven't already, reach out to my preferred lender, The Bomar Team at Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc., to discuss loan terms and options for financing available to you.
