This alt-elevation design marks the second build of one of my newest plans, dubbed the "XXOne," in that its exterior design consists of a more traditional roofline to fit within the neighborhood's design guidelines. (For a more modern version of this plan, see 1716 NE 16th). Don't let that fool anyone into thinking this home isn't capable of showing its modern teeth, though, as guests are greeted immediately past the vibrant blue front door with a floor-to-ceiling sheet of modern hot-rolled steel flanked by simple floating shelves in the entry vestibule. And by floor-to-ceiling, I mean from the minimalist, commercial-grade diamond polished floor, which extends throughout the home.
Exteriorly, the home sits on Rockwell Village's largest lot by a large margin, with a thoughtfully-placed courtyard-style patio facing the preponderance of yard space to the side of the home. Additionally, it's set back 2-car garage provides enough space for an additional 2 cars of parking for visitors.
